Safer Internet Ambassadors

An important aspect of anti-bullying prevention, wellbeing and internet safety in our school is the active involvement of students in building a positive school climate. 3rd year students Sarah O’Sullivan and Rosaleen Brady have trained to be Safer Internet Day (SID) Ambassadors through the Webwise and PDST leadership programme.

These girls are to be commended for their hard work in developing a programme of lessons to address internet safety issues which include cyberbullying, online wellbeing, false information online, privacy, data protection and your rights online. Sarah and Rosaleen are leading an awareness campaign and have been teaching a number of classes as part of their youth leadership programme.
