Pastoral Care
Class Tutors & Year Heads:
A Class Tutor is appointed to each class to take a specific interest in them. The Class Tutor has a pastoral role and focuses on positive behaviour. A Year Head is appointed to look after the general needs of students in a particular year group and to co-ordinate the activities of the Class Tutors therein.
Each year group from First Year to Sixth Year has its own Year Tutor. The Pastoral needs of and approach to each year group are naturally different.
The Year Tutors liaise with Deputy Principal and Principal.
Chaplain’s Office
At some point in our lives all of us need some kind of support. The school Chaplain, Mr Paul Mc Grath, is a member of the school’s Care Team and is there to support the school community in a pastoral capacity. He provides an open-door whereby all members of the school community can receive support in a safe and confidential manner.
